Context Elements
Context elements are the atomic components of a context.
There are multiple kinds of context elements.
In addition, context elements are connected via relationships, forming a mesh that you can navigate and explore.
Context elements can be linked to elements in other models.
Details
There are multiple kinds of context elements, which are described in the following sections.
Every context element, no matter of what kind, has an identifier, which unequivocally distinguishes it from other elements.
Issues represent questions or knowledge gaps that you would like to fulfil via discourse analysis.
Themes represent subjects or ideas to be investigated.
Themes can be organised in hierarchies, so that a theme may have sub-themes and a parent theme.
Positions represent well-known beliefs that are supported by some and attacked by others.
A position is always part of a theme.
Positions can be connected to agents via adherences, in order to represent what agents support or oppose each position.
Agents represent individuals or groups of people that have a voice, or should have a voice, about some positions.
Like positions, agents are always part of a theme.
In addition, agents can be organised in hierarchies, so that an agent may have sub-agents and a parent agent.
