Carry Out Co-Occurrence Analytics on a Corpus

Co-Occurrence analytics shows you to what degree different kinds of corpus elements co-occur in documents. Co-occurrence analytics can be carried out on any kind of copus elements. In this example, we use labels, but you can also follow the same process on folders, topics or authors.

Follow these steps to carry out a label co-occurrence analytics on a corpus:

  1. Open LogosLink Desktop.
  2. Open a context by clicking on the Open button in the Home ribbon tab. Alternatively, open the backstage and click on Open to select or browse for a corpus. LogosLink Desktop shows the corpus in a new window.
  3. Switch to the Analytics ribbon tab.
  4. Click the Co-Occurrence button, and then Labels. LogosLink Desktop shows the Label Co-Occurrence Analytics property page.
  5. Click the Run button in the Label Co-Occurrence Analytics property page toolbar. LogosLink Desktop runs the analytics and shows the results.
  6. You can browse the different charts to see how labels co-occur with other corpus element kinds.
  7. You can use the and buttons in the toolbar to size the charts as you wish.
  8. You can also hover the mouse over the charts to display detailed information.
  9. Finally, you can use the button in the toolbar to export the raw data from the analytics or an image for any of the charts.
