Size Analytics (Corpus)

Size analytics show how many active documents and associated text units there are in the corpus, grouped by different kinds of related elements.

This is useful to quickly asses how large your corpus is, and how its volume is distributed across folders, labels, topics, authors and linked themes and agents.

Results

Results are given as a series of ring charts, one per grouping element kind.

All the charts have the same structure. All the rings in a chart show the volume of the corpus for the associated element kind, but each using a different unit. From the outermost to the innermost ring, they express volume in the following units:

  • Document count
  • Sentence count
  • Word count
  • Non-stop word count
  • Character count
  • Word-forming character count
  • Storage byte count, that is, how much space is taken by files on disk
By Folder

The chart shows the corpus size for each individual folder. You can select how deep you want to go in the folder hierarchy from the drop down box in the toolbar.

By Label

The chart shows the corpus size for each individual label.

By Topic

The chart shows the corpus size for each individual topic. You can select how deep you want to go in the topic hierarchy from the drop down box in the toolbar.

By Author

The chart shows the corpus size for each individual author.

By Linked Theme
