LogosLink VersionConvert

LogosLink VersionConvert is a Windows application to convert corpora and files from previous versions of LogosLink to the newest version.

Using LogosLink VersionConvert, you can convert ontologies, argumentation models and corpora from version 1 to the current version 2.

Details

Follow these steps to convert a dataset from version 1 to version 2:

  1. Locate and open LogosLink VersionConvert on your computer.
  2. Make sure the conversion options are OK:
    1. Click on "Options..." on the bottom left corner.
    2. Check the "Use association auto-pair up" box if you want LogosLink VersionConvert to guess what version 1 association pairs make up a version 2 association.
    3. Enter your desired user name plus your details under "Analyst".
    4. Click "OK" to save the changes.
  3. Depending on what you want to convert, enter source and destination paths under "Convert Corpus", "Convert Argumentation Model" or "Convert Ontology". You can use the buttons on the right to browse for files and directories.
  4. Click on "Convert".
  5. The system will carry out the conversion, and show any relevant messages in the "Messages" box at the bottom.
