Respond Agency Model Questions
Most work in agency analysis revolves around responding questions.
Follow these steps to respond questions in an agency model:
- Open LogosLink Desktop.
-
Open an agency model by clicking on the Open button in the Home ribbon tab.
Alternatively, open the backstage and click on Open to select or browse for an agency model.
LogosLink Desktop shows the agency model in a new window.
-
Make sure the question set embedded in the agency model contains the questions that you want to respond.
You should see them in the Elements pane on the left.
If the questions are not there, open the embedded question set and edit it as needed, or merge another question set into it.
-
Questions that have been responded are indicated by a
icon.
Questions that are partially responded are indicated by a
icon.
And questions that have not been responded at all are indicated by a
icon.
Find the question that you want to respond, and double-click it.
-
If the response doesn't exist yet, LogosLink Desktop will prompt you to create it.
Click Create & Edit to do it.
A property page for the response will show.
-
Depending on the question type and its scope, the layout of the response page will vary:
- For text questions, just type your response in the text boxes.
-
For itemised questions, add items to your response by clicking the
button.
Edit items by clicking the
button, and delete them by clicking the
button.
- For option list questions, add items to your response by clicking the
button, and delete them by clicking the
button.
- For agent questions, add agents to your response by clicking the
button, and delete them by clicking the
button.
- If the question is scoped, you will need to enter different response parts for each scope combination.
- Regardless of the question type, you can also add text ranges to support your response by selecting some text in the Content pane and using the
buttons next to the Range list as needed.
